HONEYMOON COTTAGE

Situated in the middle of the Cottage Garden, the Honeymoon Cottage was created as a rustic garden retreat for Stephen and Cheryl. Also used as a guest cabin for friends and family, many a restful evening has been spent in the Cottage Garden.

The cascading water fountain, located in the center of the garden, was given to Stephen and Cheryl by 54 members of their family who attended the driving of the Golden Spike ceremony in July of 2004. The fountain certainly attracted the attention of Stephen & Cheryl’s granddaughter Clare.

The wind up Victrola works perfectly, and it is not uncommon to hear the sounds of a waltz drifting through this peaceful area of our garden.
